RTV Reporter Add Calculation Column standard

With Reporter you have the ability to create your own custom Calculation column using the actual Revit parameter values from your project. Examples of this could be when generating costing reports and you may want to combine values for say m2 x $ value to give you the calculated value as a result. If we use the Walls Category example below you can see that there are values for the Area and a Cost.  You could create a custom Calculation Column combining these two figures together. RTV Paint – Check for Updates standard

RTV Tools are constantly adding new features and enhancements to our products to cater for end user requests and functionality therefore it is a good idea to regularly check for any product updates that may be available. To do so just launch RTV Paint and from the main interface go to the Settings Menu and click the Check for Updates. Paint will then check with the RTV Tools website if a newer build number of your product is available and then display a dialog box similar to below advising if your product is up to date or if there is an update available for you to download.

RTV SPM Import Parameters from a Revit Project standard

In Addition to Importing Parameters from an existing Shared Parameter File you can also Import directly from the current open Revit Project file into Shared Parameter Manager. Click the Import From button on the Shared Parameters Tab of the ribbon Select the Import from Current Revit Project option as shown below and then browse to the Shared Parameter File required to import the Parameters from. Once Imported the Shared Parameters present in your current Revit Project file will then appear in the data grid as per below example.  In the ‘Group’ column any imported parameters from a project will be grouped under ‘Imported from project’ by default however you can edit the grouping of these parameters as required. Drawing Manager contains a number of predefined lists for various functions that you can utilize, add to and customize as required from the Project Configuration dialog box. Examples of such lists include: Issue Stamps Revision Stamps Project Status External Document Types Issue Distribution List Issue format Issue Media Transmittal Method Task Templates Document Status User Meta Data The purpose of using such lists within Drawing Manager is again to standardise on documentation to provide consistency and efficiency throughout the company amongst all users.

RTV Reporter Refresh Current tab standard

The first time you go into Reporter you will need to define the Revit Categories to form the tabs in the Data Grid. If you then Exit out of Reporter and go back into Reporter you will most likely still see the same Category Tabs in the data grid but they will not be populated as shown in below example. To Refresh the data grid for the current tab you are on such as the Walls Category then click the Refresh Current Tab button from the ribbon which will then extract the wall categories data again from the current Revit Project file.
