RTV Drawing Manager Project Status standard

This Tab provides a list of pre-defined Project Status Codes and descriptions that can be used with your Drawing Manager Project Database to define the various stages a project will go through during its life cycle. As with any other list you can add your own custom codes and descriptions as required and delete any unwanted codes from the list. This tab gives you the ability within Drawing Manager to include and manage other forms of documents associated to your project besides your actual Revit Drawing Sheets. RTV Drawing Manager Task Templates standard

Task Templates are a feature of Drawing Manager that allow you to define various Task Templates with particular tasks to be done under each task template which can then in turn be assigned to specific Sheets within Drawing Manager. This does not add any related parameters or Data back to your Revit Project as it is intended for functionality more for Revit Project managers within the Drawing Manager database only. RTV Drawing Manager User Meta Data standard

User Meta Data is a way of adding additional sheet information that can be included and used in the Drawing Manager SQL database but not synchronized with your Revit Project. This data can be linked to Revit parameters to show on sheets and be included in the file name of exported sheets. Ideally once Drawing Manager has been rolled out and implemented in your organization then the creation of all sheets for your Revit projects would be done from Drawing Manager on first principals instead of creating them natively within Revit and then importing into Drawing Manager. There will no doubt be occasions where you will need to ‘insert’ a new sheet in between existing sheets that you have already created within Drawing Manager. This function is very easily done using Drawing Manager and by inserting a sheet it will also automatically renumber the subsequent sheets in the series for you. There may well be situations where you have the need to delete Sheets for various reasons so hence there is the ability to do this also from Drawing Manager. To Delete Sheets with Drawing Manager select the sheet(s) to be deleted from the main data grid and then click the Delete button from the Sheets Panel of the Home tab.
