RTV Tools are constantly adding new features and enhancements to our products to cater for end user requests and functionality therefore it is a good idea to regularly check for any product updates that may be available. To do so just launch Shared Parameter manager and from the main interface application menu in the top Left hand corner click the Check for Updates option. SPM will then check with the RTV Tools website if a newer version of your product is available and then display a dialog box similar to below advising if your product is up to date or if there is an update available for you to download.

When working with Revisions in Revit using Revision Clouds to highlight changes on Sheets you can select any of those Revision Clouds and you will see the Revit Properties display as shown below. This Revision Cloud data can be extracted on the fly by Xporter Pro and then exported to a Microsoft Excel .xlsx file if required. To do this click the Revision Cloud Data button from the Xporter Pro Ribbon as shown below. Work Packages are a useful and time saving feature of Drawing Manager where you can bundle together any combination of Revit Sheets or External Documents for the purpose of generating Repetitive Issues. Note that Revit Views cannot be added to Work Packages. You can create any number of Work packages as Required which will be stored in the Drawing Manager SQL database. Once a Work Package has been created you can then add selected Revit Sheets or External Documents to it and then using that Work Package generate an Issue based off the bundle of Sheets and external documents defined by the Work Package. Report Designer is a bundled application included with Drawing Manager which allows users to customise and edit your own Transmittal Reports as required. There are a number of pre-formatted Report styles provided with Drawing Manager however you will most likely want to edit these to suit your needs and incorporate company logos etc. To access the Report Designer click the Transmittal Report button from the Home Tab of the ribbon as shown below. For very large and complex projects where you may likely have numerous separate Revit Models (.rvt files) linked into one master Revit file. Each of the individual Revit models will most likely therefore have their own separate Drawing Manager SQL databases as well as the main host file having its own Drawing manager SQL Database. If you have already got a comma delimited .csv file that you use to establish your Project Sheet List then you can now import that CSV file into the Xporter Pro main data grid. This way you can quickly pad out your preliminary Project Sheet Set using Xporter Pro and then synchronize back to your current Revit Project. Users with Xporter Pro 2017 or older versions will still need to use the Remote Server GUI interface instead.
