Ideally once Drawing Manager has been rolled out and implemented in your organization then the creation of all sheets for your Revit projects would be done from Drawing Manager on first principals instead of creating them natively within Revit and then importing into Drawing Manager. As such you may need to update your company Revit template file to remove any sheets or placeholders that may be present in your template file. Removing Project Parameter Binding is just as easy with SPM as it is to add the parameter binding in the first place. You can select individual parameters to be removed or multiple parameters at the same time by selecting as required from the data grid. If there are already bound project parameters present in the open Revit Project File then you will see them appear ‘BOLD‘ in the SPM data grid so you can graphically identify which parameters are already bound to your open Revit project in order to remove them. There will no doubt be occasions where you will need to ‘insert’ a new sheet in between existing sheets that you have already created within Drawing Manager. This function is very easily done using Drawing Manager and by inserting a sheet it will also automatically renumber the subsequent sheets in the series for you. Select the current sheet from the main data grid for which you want to replace with an inserted sheet then click the Insert button form the Sheets panel of the Home Tab on the ribbon. Checking for updates RTV Tools are constantly adding new features and enhancements to our products to cater for end user requests and functionality therefore it is a good idea to regularly check for any product updates that may be available. To do so just launch Xporter Pro and from the main interface click the Check for Updates button from the ribbon. Xporter Pro will then check with the RTV Tools website if a newer build number of your product is available. If there is an update available then a dialog box similar to below will appear for you to download the update. If your product is up to date a dialog box similar to below will appear.

This option is designed to allow you to remove any existing binding between a Project Parameter and a Shared Parameter then replace with a new binding between required Project Parameter and Shared parameter in the currently open Revit Project file. If doing this process it is likely that The Project Parameter in the existing Revit project to be replaced will also contain related parameter data in the Revit Database. As such if you simply just delete the Parameter then you will also delete any associated data out of the model with it. Transmittal Designer is a bundled application included with Xporter Pro which allows users to customise and edit your own Transmittal Reports as required. There are a number of pre-formatted Report styles provided with Xporter Pro however you will most likely want to edit these to suit your needs and incorporate company logos etc. To access the utility click the Transmittal Designer button from the Home Tab of the ribbon as shown below. There may well be situations where you have the need to delete Sheets for various reasons so hence there is the ability to do this also from Drawing Manager. To Delete Sheets with Drawing Manager select the sheet(s) to be deleted from the main data grid and then click the Delete button from the Sheets Panel of the Home tab. When it comes to Project Parameter Binding you can handle this on a project by project basis using Shared Parameter Manager in conjunction with you currently open Revit project to Add, Replace, or Remove bindings or you can chose to Add or Remove Project parameter bindings to multiple Revit project files contained in a designated ‘Folder’ as a bulk process.
